Gui Gui was stunned at Xiu’s expression and words. She knew immediately that what she had been saying about Aaron was right!

Gui Gui: Xiu, what are you saying? Tell me right now!

Xiu: It isn’t full moon yet. *Smiles* Aaron, you didn’t let us down…

Gui Gui: Xiu! Stop mumbling to yourself! What is all these about?

Xiu: Aaron was trying to tell us his plan. When will he attack.

Gui Gui: *frowned* plan? When?

Xiu: When the moon is no longer hidden, when the full moon shows.

----Aaron’s room---

Aaron was staying in the guest room of Ella’s mansion and he could not stop worrying about almost everything that is going to happen when it’s full moon.

He wondered if Xiu had understood Aaron’s hint but deep down inside, Aaron was more worried about his other allies.

He stretched his hands into his pocket and took out the ancient bottle of blood which Ella gave him. The blood was untouched. Aaron sighed while looking at the bottle.

If it wasn’t for George’s appearance, Aaron could have drunk the whole bottle of blood. If it was not for George’s help, the vampire world would be in deep burning fire now.

Aaron still remembered the night when he was about to made the wrong decision. George came to him and admitted that he was the one who had been aiding Aaron all along and he proposed a plan to help Aaron defeat Ella. In addition, George located Wu Xiong and Hebe with his resourcefulness and eventually, the plans to defeat Ella were shared among the four of them.

Aaron snapped back into reality and he stared at the moon, hoping to find some comfort in doing so.

Aaron : *mumbles to himself*please let everything be fine…

---The next day-------

Evening

Ella sat gracefully at the dining table, waiting for Aaron. She put on a luring smile when she saw Aaron walking into the room.

Ella: Take a seat. I have prepared something for you. Fresh blood.

Aaron: *smiles* Thank you for your kindness but I’m just not in the mood right now.

Ella: *slight frown* Why is that so?

Aaron: Well, I was in my room, wondering why my partner wouldn’t tell me her plans of conquering the world but instead invites me as a guest in her mansion, doing nothing to contribute. This is kind of uncomfortable for me.

Ella broke into a smile: So this is what all is about? Aaron, dear, don’t worry about the plans. I will do the planning and you can execute the plan for me. We will be doing that tomorrow, when its full moon.

Aaron was slightly taken aback by this coincidence. He wondered if there was any catch in this.

Aaron: Full moon? Why choose to act on this day?

Ella: Well, as a ‘newborn’ real vampire, you would have the strongest power tomorrow and it’s the best time to strike.

Aaron: Who are you planning to attack?

Ella places her index finger over her lips: Shhh…this is a surprise. You will get to know it tomorrow. *Smiles*

With that, Ella left the dining table while saying: I guess we are all not in a mood for a decent meal. Excuse me.

Aaron made no attempt to speak or move. He just sat by the table, thinking through the words Ella had just said. Millions of question flew through his mind.

Aaron POV: Does she know about our plan already? It will be impossible! We had covered it so discretely, she wouldn’t have known.

Aaron: *mumbles to himself* What is going on?

Knowing that something might be amiss, Aaron decided to seek for his ally’s help…

------In the deep forest------

Aaron walked hurriedly towards his ally, who was already standing in the clearing. Not bothering to give any greetings, Aaron asked: What is she up to?

Geogre: Aaron. I have no idea. She seemed to be more distant to me ever since you came. There’s something going on and my gut feelings tells me that it’s nothing to our favor.

Aaron: I don’t think we should go along with the plan any longer.

George: I guess Xiu and Gui Gui took the hint you gave them. They seemed to be acting calm.

Aaron: That’s good.

George: No it isn’t. This had probably aroused Ella’s suspicion. For all we know, she could have known that you are still half a hunter.

Aaron: What should we do now? She is going to strike tomorrow. It’s too much of a coincidence. We had planned to save Gui Gui and Xiu tomorrow when it’s full moon where most of the vampires would be out hunting. It would be easier for us to strike.

George: Ella could have known about all of these.

Aaron: We have to think of another way out. We can’t wait till tomorrow.

George: You mean…

Aaron: Yea, we should take action tonight.

George: Tonight?

Aaron: We have to strike before her. We have to tell others about this.

George: *solemn expression* Aaron, keep this from Rainie.

Aaron: Why?

George: She might be the traitor among us.

----In the dungeon----

Aaron walked down the stone staircase into the cold and dark dungeon. He was acting alone as George had gone off to inform Wu Xiong and Hebe.

He could picture two figures lying on the dungeon floor- Xiu and Gui Gui.

Without further hesitation, Aaron made his way towards them with the speed of lightning.

Aaron: *bent down* Gui Gui…Gui Gui!

Gui Gui was lying on the floor, unconscious. Just then, Aaron’s attention was diverted to Xiu, who was bleeding profusely. He was harboring new wounds on his body!

Aaron: *worried* Xiu! What happened?!

Xiu: Aaron……it’s…….it’s……………

Before Xiu could complete his sentence, the culprit had shown itself.

With a ruthless strike, Aaron was thrown from his spot and he hit the stone slab hard and painfully.

Aaron groaned in pain but what magnified his surprise was his attacker. He stood back on his feet and stared at the attacker unbelievingly.

Aaron: Gui Gui?
